50 Thousand Documentary

Documentary · Mental Health · PTSD Awareness

50 Thousand

50-Thousand refers to 50,000 or more homeless veterans on the street experiencing PTSD or mental health conditions. We don’t just label PTSD on veterans because many of us can experience trauma and relive it over and over again.

A lot of us don’t know we have PTSD — we just go with the motions of life until boom, you realize you can’t sleep at night: insomnia, night sweats, sleeping pills, thoughts of suicide, and feeling on edge. This documentary meets people where they are and gives them a safe space to heal.

The Illusion

Short Film · Psychology Drama

The Illusion

Two illusive characters — Light vs. Dark — that only exist in our mind. It’s the thoughts we tell ourselves, whether they are good or bad. These two characters are having an intense conversation in the board room trying to convince each other to reform to their way of thinking.

Inner light vs. Inner dark. A psychology drama created by Kristie K. Coleman.

50 Thousand
Short Film

The short film companion to the 50 Thousand documentary. A focused, powerful look at the silent battles carried by those living with undiagnosed PTSD — reminding every viewer that they are not alone on their healing journey.

From veterans to civilians, trauma does not discriminate. This film is a movement rooted in awareness, therapy, and the belief that healing is possible.
